About Tri-State Myofunctional Therapy
Hello. I’m Lindsey Mackley, AOMT-C, Certified Myofunctional Therapist
I’m the owner and lead therapist at Tri-State Myofunctional Therapy, which I founded in 2020. I was originally introduced to the field of Orofacial Myology through a continuing education course and couldn’t help but jump right in once I realized its potential. My career as a dental hygienist exposed me to the fact that the health of the body is connected to the health of the mouth. I found OMT fascinating and saw so much opportunity to help others.
I completed training with the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT) and MyoMentor with Sarah K. Hornsby. As I was going through Myofunctional Therapy training, I felt like pieces of a puzzle were coming together and I could understand the root causes of the ailments that have troubled many of the patients, young and old, that I have worked with over the years.
I was also led to awareness of my own orofacial myofunctional disorders. I have personally been through myofunctional therapy and a tongue-tie release, and finally found relief from chronic headaches, neck pain and poor sleep quality that I had dealt with for a long time.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to explore this field and the privilege to work with the hundreds of patients that led me to the place I am today and the ability to help people.

Becca
Myofunctional Therapist
Becca comes to TSMT with a great deal of passion for the field of Myo, training and experience! Becca enjoys working with patients with any symptom, however, she is particularly fond of helping adults with sleep, breathing, and TMJ symptoms as well as children with ADHD.
Diane
Myofunctional Therapist
Diane comes to TSMT with over 20 years of experience in the dental profession. The beginning of her Myo journey began in 2010 when she became aware of her son’s tongue-tie and recognized that his facial growth pattern was being affected by his tongue-tie. Diane strongly believes in a holistic, whole body approach to medicine which recognizes that the health of the mouth directly relates to the overall health of the body. While Diane enjoys working with patients of all ages, she is particularly fond of working with children ages 4-6!
Our Approach to Patient Care
So many people suffer with problems and conditions that are completely addressable but after countless appointments and tests, they still don’t have relief. They begin to feel helpless because they still don’t know what’s wrong. Worse, others convince them that it’s all in their head.
For children, prevention is key and if we start early, we can prevent many problems from taking hold.
The Therapists at Tri-Sate Myo LISTEN first.
We listen and then help people find relief from symptoms that have a root cause. We give people the help and tools that they didn’t know was possible or existed.
Here at Tri-State Myo, we listen and work with you one-on-one to create a completely custom and tailored plan for you. It may be cliché, but we believe in service with a smile AND we are committed to give our best with each and every patient.
Goal Setting to Achieve Optimal Results
We are not going to have you in treatment with no end goals or end in sight. We are not going to make you pay session after session with no direction or sense of final outcomes. What would be the point of that? Our goal to to be with you from start to finish so that you can be out of pain or out of braces, or sleeping better and never look back! It’s vital to be able to complete therapy for best results and not be stuck in it for years.
We Believe in Comprehensive Care and have a High Success Rate!
From your initial evaluation until you reach the goals we set together for your treatment program, we are with you from start to finish. By working with our patients in a full program vs. session by session, we expect to see you through the process in 6-8 months!
We have seen numerous patients since 2020 and so far, no one has come back to us for more therapy. Our goal is to not have repeat customers!
