This prestigious certification from the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) recognizes advanced training, clinical expertise, and a commitment to the highest standards of patient care.
Achieving board certification is a significant professional milestone. The journey to COM® status requires years of specialized education, rigorous coursework, hands-on clinical experience, mentorship, and a comprehensive certification process.
For Mackley, the achievement represents six years of dedicated study and practice in the field of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, along with the continued growth of a thriving clinical practice focused on helping patients improve oral facial function, airway health, and overall quality of life.
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy plays an important role in addressing conditions related to oral posture, breathing patterns, swallowing, and muscle function of the face and mouth.
